​Named after the historic port through which it is shipped, Brazil Santos is widely considered the quintessential Brazilian coffee. Grown at lower altitudes than many of its neighbors, these beans are known for their remarkably low acidity and a smooth, consistent profile that makes them a global favorite for blending. The "Santos" designation usually refers to Bourbon Santos, a high-quality variety harvested during the first few years of a tree’s life. Expect a comforting, medium-bodied cup with a rich palette of creamy milk chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, and sweet caramel. Because of its natural sweetness and heavy crema, it is the legendary "secret ingredient" in traditional Italian espresso blends, providing a velvety base that balances out more acidic origins.
